Although I read and write paranormal suspense, do paranormal investigations, and enjoy a good horror movie, it’s sad to say that the last decent scary movies I’ve seen were the Exorcist, the Conjuring, and The Conjuring 2 (Although not as good as Conjuring 1). I’m not into blood, guts, and gore, so movies like SAW, and Friday the 13th don’t do a thing for me. If anything I get bored quickly as I find the blood and gore in movies like this too gratuitous.

The other night, we had a chance to go out and see The Nun. It had decent reviews, which I pay little heed to anyway, but I have to say this was one of the better movies I’ve seen in a while. The premise was well done, although you really had to pay close attention to the movie to get it, and the special effects were terrific. I won’t issue any spoilers for the movie here, but do suggest is you’re up for a decent flick, check out The Nun. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. mwaaahahhaaaa
