I had a major bon temp the other weekend at Festival Acadiens et Creoles! If you’ve ever wondered what real joie de vivre looked like, check out these short vids. J You’ll see Belton Richard, a traditional Cajun musician in action, then Roddie Romero and Steve Riley, both of whom play ZydeCajun–music that’s a mixture of Creole Zydeco and Traditional Cajun–and are jamming like there’s no tomorrow. And best of all, you’ll see a regular Joe Cajun having one hell of a good time, as he dances in the dust and plays the scrub board along with the band!
